cutting edge facilities! Pre-registration for the tours is required and will be available
on-line.

facilities of the Government of Canada’s National Research Council (NRC). The NRC pursues cutting

change, the environment, clean energy and other fields.

The CANMET Energy
Technology Centre (CETC) has a mandate to develop and demonstrate energy efficient, alternative and renewable
energy technologies and processes. CETC-Ottawa’s clean energy expertise includes alternative
transportation fuels and technologies, bioenergy, solar, small hydro and wind, catalytic and membrane process
technologies, clean fossil fuel technology and clean power generation, CO2 capture, energy
efficiency for buildings, communities and industry, high temperature processes for the steel industry, and
hydrogen and fuel cells.
