The Participation/Spirit
Awards:
This year, we want to go all out to find out which
school has the most spirit at the conference. To do so, we’ve split up the spirit award into
different challenges and sections, which will all need to be completed in order to crown the most spirited
university. To win this prize, you have to be ready to surrender yourself to everything the conference
has to offer and be bursting with school/engineering pride.
Individual
Prizes: Individual prizes,
like gift certificates and electronics, will be given away at all the undergraduate events as door
prizes. To win these, you have to be present at the event. So set your alarm clocks and
don’t be late for the sessions, attending sessions could pay off big time. Make sure to check out
the list of prizes.
School Pride
Prize: Be prepared to show your
school colours and flaunt your engineering pride. Points will be awarded to the school that is most
spirited, that wins challenges and has the best attendance at all undergraduate events. Bring lots of
school swag to give away and trade with other schools. So CSChE Presidents, make sure to coordinate
your students;
-
Make matching conference shirts
-
Personal school spirit paraphernalia (ie;
coveralls)
-
Write School Chants
-
Bring your school Mascot
-
Bring lots of SWAG!: mugs, clothes, stickers, key
chains, it’s all good
Spirit
Award: The spirit award
will be structured around all the conference events. To win this, your school will have to complete a
scavenger hunt list of questions, items and pictures that will be hidden through out the three days of
undergraduate events. Each session and activity will contain answers to the scavenger hunt and clues
for certain items and pictures will be given through out the conference. The school with the most
complete list will take home the Spirit award and a prize that is guaranteed to blow you away.
